Stow Lake.

This weekend we went Pedal-boating on Stow Lake in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. It’s a great way to spend a Summer afternoon, although the water looks like a mix of sewage, swamp-ness, wheatgrass shots and other mysterious liquids.
I steered us underneath this overhanging tree. Good times.
Or maybe you can just ask Jeff (Aux Delices) what’s in the water. He got pushed in.

Magazine archives.

For those of you who’ve been following the NHTVSN journey since day one, you’ll probably remember that our inaugural season was actually accompanied by a 4-part video magazine featuring short segments with some of our industry friends whose personality and work we were excited to highlight. We’ve decided to make them available for viewing once again for those who didn’t catch them the last time around. Part of the charm in revisiting old work is that situations have almost certainly changed for these individuals, but the moments in time that we’ve preserved are here to stay as a testament to where they were at in that particular juncture of their careers and lives.
Our first archive segment was filmed with Eddie Hahm of Fast Eddies and (Commune) - you can watch the video below.
Update: All of the segments from Episode 1 are now available for viewing. Enjoy…

Mr. Cheeks.

Our good friend Seth Cheeks (CheekyDsn) is nice with the flash animations, but before that came about he was nice with the skateboard too. He recently got interviewed by online skate magazine 48 Blocks and even though I pretty much knew everything he talked about, you probably didn’t so go read it here. Also below is some footage of his that someone (unbeknownst to Seth) uploaded for your personal enjoyment. If nothing else, you get a good view of his amazing nostrils.
